The part I love most about this work is the genuine relationships I get to build with clients. I cherish the opportunity to partner with individuals and couples on their life journey. My warm and empathic nature easily lends itself to the creation of a safe space where you can feel comfortable talking about what matters most to you.

My goal in this relationship is to help you better understand yourself. It is my experience that when we explore our own values, we begin to understand why we feel misaligned in different areas of our life. Self exploration helps us discover how past and present experiences shape our view of the world and of ourselves. With this understanding, we are empowered to change our self-view to one that is conducive to the life we want to live. With increased self-awareness, you are able to move towards the change you desire to cultivate.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern working under the supervision of Cynthia Netting, LPC-S.

My professional career includes clinical inpatient psychiatric experience, academic case management for teens, and development of academic and social-emotional programs for teens and their families. Prior to beginning my journey as a therapist, I served my community through college access programs. As a first generation college graduate, I am passionate about empowering first generation students to overcome the academic and mental health realities that come with being the first in their family to obtain a higher education.
